Easy Apple Cinnamon Cookies
These delicious cookies combine the best flavors of fall: cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, apples, raisins and nuts to make a fantastic afternoon or evening treat.

Ingredients
- 2 c flour All Purpose
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 c butter or margarine room temperature
- 1 1/3 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c milk
- 1 c chopped apples
- 1 c chopped raisins
- 1 c chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg together.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
- Add egg into butter and sugar mixture mixture and beat until fluffy.
- Add milk and sifted ingredients alternatively to egg, butter and sugar mixture.
- Add chopped apples, raisins and nuts to mixture and mix well.
- Drop small rounded tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Notes
These cookies also freeze well, if you cannot eat them all immediately. Simply allow them to cool completely and wrap tightly in freezer safe bags before placing in the freezer. Feel free to alternate nut or fruit mixture to your taste.
