Best coffee in Hilton Head, South Carolina Options
Watusi Cafe is a delightful spot with a lovely patio with plenty of outdoor seating. This family owned local restaurant serves specialty coffees, drip coffees, and iced coffee made from fair trade, organic beans.
They offer serve delicious food with a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu! A serving of biscuits and gravy or a delicious meal of a breakfast burrito is the perfect way to start the morning. Watusi Cafe also has some great vegetarian options like the vegetarian Benedict option.
Find Watusi Cafe at 71 Pope Avenue, with breakfast and lunch served all day!
C’est Bon is located at 71 Lighthouse Road and features fantastic local coffee drinks, along with gelato and pastries. Their famous chicken salad on a fresh croissant makes a delicious meal! This little French bakery is a hidden gem on the Carolina coast.
Carolina Coffee and Crumbs
Carolina Coffee and Crumbs is a sweet spot with plenty of local coffee drinks and delicious breakfast and lunch options. You can find this great place at 101 Pope Avenue, open Monday to Sunday 7 AM-4PM.
They have plenty of coffee options, with espresso drinks and specialty coffee drinks like the Aloha latte, an Almond Joy latte, and my favorite, the S’mores latte. You can also find coffee cocktails, craft beer and wine at this cozy spot with fast service and Southern hospitality!
Their breakfast options include a fantastic French toast, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and avocado toast. Wanting more of a lunch option? Consider the grilled chicken panini, Nutella waffle with fresh fruit, or their homemade chicken salad! It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends with some great food.
Hilton Head Social Company
Hilton Head Social Company is a fantastic cozy spot with delicious freshly baked pastries and organic, fair trade coffee, tea and specialty coffee drinks. Their pain au chocolate, croissants and brioche, all freshly made in the bakery, make the perfect morning treat. The decadent cheesecakes are one of our favorites! Be sure to check out their lunch options too – including the tomato tart and bacon potato quiche.
They are located right across the entrance from Palmetto Dunes, in the Shops of Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina, off of William Hilton Parkway. Enjoy the outdoor seating and free wifi while you sip your cold brew and nibble a delicious pastry. The owners recently opened a second location on the south end of the island at 1018 William Hilton Pkwy, next door to My Sisters Closet. Be sure to check out both options the next time you are in Hilton Head!
Java Burrito Co.
Java Burrito – coffee and Mexican restaurant? That is my kind of love language! Java Burrito Company is a Mexican grill offering a burrito bar, breakfast sandwiches and a full gourmet coffee bar.
My kids love the cinnamon and sugar toast with two thick slices of toast slathered with butter, cinnamon and pure cane sugar. My personal favorite is the French toast with a nice hot cup of their daily brew. Heading in for lunch? Check out their Mexican grill and make your own burrito!
Located at 1000 William Hilton Pkwy, Java Burrito is definitely on my list of best restaurant options while visiting the coast of South Carolina. Check it out the next time you need a good cup of coffee and some good Mexican food!
Corner Perk Brunch Cafe
Corner Perk Brunch Cafe is a great coffee shop near Hilton Head Island! Located at 1297 May River Road in Bluffton, Corner Perk offers breakfast skillets, artisan toasts and freshly roasted coffees. They also house an amazing event space that you can rent out for special events. If you are looking for a great cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast at reasonable prices, along with a friendly staff, you will not be disappointed with your coffee experience at Corner Perk!
