Can you meet Princess Elena of Avalor at Disney World?
If you want to meet Princess Elena of Avalor at Disney World, head to Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom park. Here, you find four different Disney princesses! Elena is commonly paired with Cinderella on one side of the hall. The other side of Fairytale Hall currently features Tiana and Rapunzel.
Currently, Princess Fairytale Hall is the only place in the Disney theme parks or within the Walt Disney World Resort area to meet Princess Elena one on one.
Princess Elena of Avalor is the only Disney Junior character that appears outside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If your little ones are Disney Jr fans, be sure to stop by Fairytale Hall. Use the My Disney Experience app to check wait times, as traditional meet and greets for your favorite princesses can form quite a line.
If you want to continue having magical vacations, try to avoid waiting in long lines. If you are staying on the Disney property, take advantage of early morning entry to visit Princess Elena. Or, you can consider coming back to meet the princesses later in the evening. If you do run into a long line, try packing stickers or snacks to help pass the time in line.
Who is Princess Elena of Avalor?
Princess Elena of Avalor is the first Disney character of Hispanic descent, representing the amazing diverse Latin cultures of Disney’s audience. She is a 16-year-old princess with some amazing magical powers. One of the best ways to prep for your Disney trip with little ones is to try watching her show before you travel. The original song from her theme music always gets stuck in our heads!
How much does it cost to meet the Disney princesses and Disney characters?
Your park admission tickets include the cost for meeting all of the Disney princesses like Snow White, Cinderella, Elena, Princess Aurora, and Princess Jasmine. There is also no additional cost for meeting Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and more. If there is a specific princess or traditional character meet and greet that is important to you, be sure to check your My Disney Experience account for the latest posted wait time. Hopefully, it won’t take too long to have your magical moment!
What should you take with you to meet Elena of Avalor?
If you are new to visiting a Disney park, you may be unsure what to bring for meeting your first princess or Disney characters. If it is your first time for a Disney princess meet and greet, be sure to pack an autograph book and a clickable Sharpie!
A clickable Sharpie is a great option because it is easy for the various princesses to maneuver. I also like to store them in a sealable Ziploc bag, just in case a rainstorm finds us in the parks. Even Prince Charming can’t save your autograph book from a sudden thunderstorm!
When you are visiting Princess Elena, ask her about her show or other characters in the show like her younger sister Isabel. Meeting your first Disney princess can be a bit awkward if the conversation lulls but the Photopass photographer can help move along the conversation with character greetings.
Should I purchase Memory Maker for meeting characters?
If meeting characters and princesses is important to you and your family, you may want to consider purchasing Memory Maker. This is the photo package that allows you to access all of the photos taken on rides and with characters throughout the parks. The Photopass photographer can snap your photos in front of Cinderella Castle, with all of the Disney characters, and throughout all of the Disney parks. The photos can be found in your My Disney Experience account. It is less expensive to add it to your Disney World package before your trip. This is a great option if you feel like you may want to look back on your photos from the parks.
