When cruisers step into the Disney Wish stone wall hallway near Arendelle, everything reminds you of your favorite characters from Frozen: Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Arendelle is one of the main dining rooms onboard the Disney Wish cruise ship that cruisers visit while dining at the rotational dining restaurants. Keep reading to find out more about Arendelle: the location, the menu and the immersive live entertainment you can expect.
Where is Arendelle located on the Disney Wish?
Arendelle is located on Deck 5 in the aft of the Disney Wish. It is just down from Edge, the teen club, on the same deck as the Grand Hall. On deck 5, you will also find Mickey’s Mainsail, the Enchanted Sword Cafe, the Senses Spa, and the Keg & Compass and Triton Lounges.
The Design and Story behind Arendelle on the Disney Wish
The story behind Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure takes place after Frozen 2. Guests are invited to celebrate the engagement of Anna and Kristoff. The venue is to be the Arendelle castle itself with the party hosted by Olaf and Queen Elsa. There are plenty of family portraits as you come down the hall to the restaurant which makes you feel immersed as soon as you get close to the main dining room.

The dining room is wide and spread out with multiple tables surrounding a center stage in the middle of the restaurant. If the entertainment is important to you, or you have a little Frozen fan in your party, be sure to request a table closer to the center stage. However, if you prefer a great view of the ocean, our party loved our seats at the far aft of the ship, overlooking the sea.
it is definitely a themed dining experience. Our group loved the colorful glassware, elegant flatware, and lovely painted plates. Arendelle is one of 3 main dining restaurant onboard the Disney Wish, including the Worlds of Marvel restaurant and 1923. Marceline Market is the buffet casual dining option onboard the Disney Wish.
The rotational dining experience on Disney cruise ships is one of my favorite aspects of cruising with DCL. Your dining staff rotates with you, getting to know you and your family as you cruise, making them feel like part of the family by the end of your voyage! Be sure to let them know if you are celebrating any special occasions while cruising.

The Arendelle Menu onboard the Disney Wish
Arendelle offers some traditional Nordic cuisine, along with traditional Disney favorites, a kids menu, and lighter faire options. As with all Disney cruise ships, the menu includes appetizers, soups and salads, entrees, and desserts. If you don’t like one of them, pick another or order two! All of your dining in the main restaurants are included in your cruise cost, so try it all.
Appetizers, Soups and Salads

Bread service sets off your meal with six-grain Viking loaf with roasted onion dip or butter. Appetizer options at Arendelle include:
- Anna’s Koldtbord: a Nordic sampler with hot smoked salmon, smoked trout, and dill honey mustard
- chilled green and asparagus
- Scallops baked in a shrimp tarragon bisque, rainbow carrots in a flaky pastry
- Jalsberg cheese and Rosemary ham tart
Entrees at Arendelle
Entrees at Arendelle also feature a Nordic flair. If you aren’t sure about the best choices, be sure to consult your server. They always have the best suggestions! Also, remember you can always order more than one entree if you would like to sample a few choices.
Here are some of the highlighted entrees from Arendelle:
- Dry Roasted Park Tenderloin with buttered chard, Yukon Gold potato puree, butternut squash, and a port wine reduction
- Potato Lefse with carrots, spinach, green and white asparagus, and Brussels sprouts
- Cod Filet with potato puree, rainbow carrots and pea tendrils
- Braised Meatballs with egg noodles and Ligonberry chutney

Lighter Side Items on the Menu at Arendelle

Lighter options at Arendelle include a seared salmon salad, grilled sirloin steak, roasted chicken breast, oven baked salmon with garden veggies, rice, or baked potato.
Desserts on the Arendelle Menu
Have a sweet tooth? Arendelle offers plenty of fantastic options! My favorite is the signature dessert, the Troll Family’s Rock Chocolate Bar. It is a delicious chocolate cake with pistachio cookie rocks and a hibiscus meringue. The butter cake with almond meringue and vanilla cream and berries is also incredible.
The delicious Norwegian pancake dessert with a Ligonberry jam and white chocolate cheesecake shouldn’t be missed. The apple cake with a caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and an almond crunch is also divine!

Live Entertainment at Arendelle
If you have some Frozen fans in your sailing crew, you will be happy to know some of your favorite Frozen characters appear! Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf visit while celebrating Anna and Kristof’s engagement! The characters will have some musical numbers and then come around to visit the tables.
Tips for Dining at Arendelle
A general tip for dining at Arendelle, just like I suggest to all of my clients sailing with DCL, is to try everything! All of your meals in the main dining halls are included in your cruise fare, and you can try anything you like. Not sure about a certain app or entree? Order two! Like your child’s meal better than yours? Order a kids meal on the side!

Also, be sure to ask your server for their suggestions. They know the menu backwards and forwards, and they also know what is most popular with prior guests. When they offer ideas on what to order, try them out! If you don’t like it, request something else.
Tips for Persons with Allergies or Dietary Sensitivities
Disney Cruise Line is amazing serving people with allergies or dietary sensitivities. It’s always a great idea to give Guest Services a heads up about your particular dining concerns, so the dining team will have those noted. Also, take into account, that your first night’s meal may take a bit longer to prepare as the dining team responds to your specific needs. Your food will be taken on a “pink ticket” by your server to highlight that it is an allergy friendly meal. Your meal will also come with a colored pick or designated tray to let your server know that it is made for you.
If you would like to check out Disney Cruise Line’s official info on Special Dietary Requests, be sure to visit their website and fill out a Special Request form under your reservation. If you are working with a travel agents, we can help make those notes as well.
