Does Disney Cruise Line offer transportation from the airport?
Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transportation from the Orlando International Airport (MCO). The shuttle service can be added to your Disney Cruise Line reservation and must be added at least 3 days before your cruise sail date. Your travel advisor can easily add it to your reservation and for your return trip to the airport after your cruise for round trip coverage.
Where do you meet Disney Cruise Line transportation at the Orlando airport?
Disney Cruise transportation runs a shuttle service from MCO every thirty minutes or so. Once you arrive at the airport, claim your luggage on the baggage claim level. Then, head to Side B, Level 1 for Ground Transportation. There, you will check in with the Disney Cruise Line representative for the next available transfer. Guests may check in as early as 8:30 am and buses begin running around 10:20 am. The last transfer usually takes place around 2:00 pm. Once you board the bus, the trip to Port Canaveral takes about an hour from the Orlando airport.
What are the advantages of taking DCL transport to the port?
One big advantage to taking Disney Cruise Line transportation is receiving an earlier port arrival time on your embarkation day. An early port arrival time means more time on your ship! It almost makes for a seamless day as Disney handles your transportation from the Orlando International Airport or a Walt Disney World resort to the departure port cruise terminal.
How much is Disney Cruise Line transportation to Port Canaveral?
From the date of this answer from the Disney Cruise Line website, Disney transportation currently has a $45 per-person fee per way to the Disney Cruise Line terminal at Port Canaveral. The total for a round trip to and from the ship costs $90 per person. This is a great direct transportation option.
Can you take Disney Cruise Line transportation from a Disney resort?
Yes, you can take the Disney Cruise Line transportation from any Disney hotel, MCO (Orlando International Airport) or from the Hyatt at the Orlando airport. It is easily reserved through Disney Cruise Line ahead of time for a per-person fee.
Simply request your travel agent add transportation to your reservation. If you booked on your own, click on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, click on reservation and navigate to “Transportation.” You can also call Disney Cruise Line directly to have it added to your reservation.
Once you arrive at any of the Disney resorts, check in with the front desk staff to see where the Disney Cruise Line stagecoach will meet you on embarkation day. You will be given an exact time to meet your stagecoach for your ground transfer. A great perk of staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel before your cruise is that you know you are in good hands as soon as you arrive in the Orlando area!
Does Disney Cruise Line provide a car seat on the bus transportation?
Disney Cruise Line does not provide car seats on the bus transportation, as a car seat is not required to make the trip. You can bring your own car seat for use during your vacation. Does Disney Cruise Line provide transportation back to the Orlando airport after a cruise?
Yes, you can also add Disney Cruise Line transportation back to the Orlando International airport after your cruise from Port Canaveral. The whole family can relax after your early morning wake up call back to the airport. If you have the earliest time to eat at main dining, you will be off the ship by around 7:30-8 am. If you are at late dining, you will have breakfast a bit later, debarking the ship between 8:00-8:30 am.

You can rent a car in Orlando for your drive to Port Canaveral. In fact, my family prefers to use a rental car as it allows us to make stops along the way and has plenty of room for our luggage. You can run the car from MCO and then drop it off at the rental car location near Port Canaveral. Rental companies do this every day, so their shuttles are frequent! Super easy!
Another option is checking out the Disney Car Care Center on the Walt Disney World resort property. They offer rental cars through Alamo, Enterprise, and National. The car rental facility is located near Magic Kingdom and a shuttle is available for all Disney resort hotels to get you there. The Disney Car Care Center is located at 1000 West Car Care Drive, Bay Lake, FL 32830.
You can do a one-way car rental on embarkation day and then another one-way car rental for debarkation day back to the airport or your final destination after the cruise.
